En honor de los danzantes masacrados por los españoles

Anoche bailé en honor de los danzantes masacrados por los españoles durante la fiesta de Tóxcatl.



Al final de la danza, en el círculo, yo no quise decir nada porque sabía perfectamente que si lo mencionaba no iba a poder detener el llanto. Dediqué la danza de anoche a mis antepasados náhuatls, mis abuelitos, Mary y como siempre, a los inmigrantes que en ese momento se encuentren cruzando la frontera. Ojalá mi energía llegue a ellos.

Pero dentro de mi corazón, con todo mi cuerpo, mi energía, mi enojo, mi tristeza, mi felicidad, con todo esto y más yo danzé también para ellos, para los danzantes masacrados ese día por esos desgraciados hombres sin madre, sin patria, sin humanidad. Ojalá mi energía llegue a ellos en donde quiera que se encuentren, en el Mictlán o cerca de nosotros. Quiero que sepan, que sientan que los recordamos y los veneramos y respetamos.

She's one of us or the new Toby's club

L, a very intelligent coworker is leaving this company and has accepted a new position in another company. She's so popular that she's been enjoying several farewell parties -- there's now a controversy though: the "though" guys, the techies, organized a "boys only" party for her and did not invite any other women to this party even though there are other women in that techie group. They won't accept at all any other women in this party. When A, one of the other women in the techie group asked those guys why she wasn't invited they just simply replied "we don't want women there", but A counter "wait a minute, she IS a woman", then the techie said "yes, but she IS ONE OF US".

So funny!! So now machos will accept women in their clubs as long as they are lesbian? Why? Because this way they'll be able to speak macho language? This is so funny and interesting!!!
